The information that most Montana high school students don’t use marijuana in a typical month comes from a survey called the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS). The YRBS was established by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to collect data about health risk behaviors of students. The YRBS was administered in 2021 in Montana public schools and the data is representative of all students in grades 9-12 in Montana.They have no financial interest in the information (they aren’t trying to sell anything to you). They are interested in understanding trends of health risk behaviors of youth over time.
